We are the leading tour operator in San Marcos TX, offering expertly guided river trips with a focus on safety, quality instruction, and well-planned routes. We deliver a reliable and enjoyable experience for paddlers of all levels.
We’re available by reservation only. This is a non-profit run from our home, and we welcome guests who respect our property and privacy. Proceeds support weekly outings for wounded Veterans and help kids reach the Jr. Olympics. We do have other jobs, that's why we coordinate access. No access is allowed without our presence, and we no longer offer activities on Tuesdays.
Whether paddling flat water, rapids, or surfing, your technique shapes the quality of your experience. Good instruction prevents your technique from limiting your enjoyment of the river and ensures you get the most out of every trip.
You’ll learn from Olympians, US Team athletes, and Olympic hopefuls with years of refined technique. Our instructors hold ACA and USCK certifications, plus first aid and CPR. We also offer Memberships and Adventure trips to help you paddle year-round. All proceeds support wounded veterans and Junior Olympic programs. No matter your age or ability, you’ll benefit from personal attention from leaders in the sport.
The San Marcos River runs clear and warm at 72 degrees year-round, creating an ideal learning environment. San Marcos also features attractions for non-kayakers, including Aquarena Springs, Wonder World, Texas State University, and the Prime and Tanger Outlets.
